Our Team

VIP started in 1974 as a spin-off from Circulation Management, Inc. (CMI), a circular hand distribution company that originated plastic bag door-to-door delivery on Long Island in 1969.

Its clients, as VIP, are primarily the major supermarket chains.

In 1980, CMI became a distribution broker and in 1988 sold its delivery contracts to what eventually became Newsday’s hand delivery company.

In 1988, VIP went from a pre-press company & print broker to a full service printer with the aquisition of press.

By 1992, VIP had state-of-the-art, Apple-based pre-press equipment & presses.

VIP employs over 35 people to meet its customer’s requirements.

VIP operates out of a 10,000 sq. ft. building and is run by it’s president,  Winifred Preble together with Bob Pastorelli, CEO

Equipment includes a Tensor and a Goss SSC 4 high presses with triple ribbon decks, automatic splicers and stackers. These presses (occupying very little floor space) produce up to 60,000 copies per hour and up to 24 Tab pages (48 mini tab) in full color. Seven million circulars are printed in a typical week.

The pre-press equipment includes a digital camera, platesetter and color & black laser printers supported by over 20 state-of-the-art Apple computers including scanners and file servers. We also have several wide Format HP printers for poster work and several production printers and color copiers for 4 color sign work.

With the latest Multi-Ad Creator Software, Adobe Creative Suite, broadband internet etc., VIP prides itself with fast turnaround from digital camera to direct-to-plate digital output.

VIP specializes in 4-color Supermarket circulars including Key Food, Jetro Wholesale, C-Town, Associated, Food Bazaar, and various independent markets.
